The Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge is New Zealand's most popular and largest cycling event with more than 7,000 cyclists taking part each year.
Events include both road and mountain bike categories, with the full lap of Lake Taupo involving a 160km ride.
Shorter options include 90km and 40km courses, as well as a kid's 5km bike ride.
For the more experienced and adventurous, endurance events include a 320km ride (two laps of the lake), 640km (four laps of the lake) and an extreme 1280km (eight laps of the lake)!
